Language Fluency AI Trainer | $6–$65/hr | Remote (US)

Join a cutting-edge AI benchmark evaluation project as a freelance Language Fluency Coach or Vocational Instructor. You'll serve as an expert evaluator helping shape how AI models teach conversational English for career and higher education advancement — no academic grading involved.

About the Project

As AI models increasingly support unstructured, conversational language learning, their effectiveness depends on expert qualitative analysis. We're looking for professionals with hands-on experience in vocational, soft skills, or spoken English instruction — not traditional K-12 academic environments. Your role is to interpret real-world data collected by vendor raters and provide first-hand feedback to improve the AI's individualized teaching approach.

Key Responsibilities

  • Expert Data Interpretation: Analyze language-learning interactions and data gathered by vendor raters in real-world settings.
  • Qualitative Feedback & Consulting: Participate in virtual face-to-face meetings to provide detailed feedback on the AI's conversational flow, teaching methodologies, and fluency development strategies.
  • Reporting & Documentation: Synthesize pedagogical insights into structured spreadsheets to guide model refinement.
  • Model Strategy Alignment: Ensure the AI's instructional approach supports individualized, unstructured teaching aimed at helping adult learners gain fluency for professional and academic contexts.

Required Expertise

  • Demonstrated experience as a Language Fluency Coach, ESL/EFL Instructor (IELTS/TOEFL), Soft Skills Faculty, or Vocational Institute Teacher. Traditional K-12 academic teachers focused on grading are not a fit for this role.
  • Deep understanding of individualized, unstructured teaching methodologies that build practical conversational fluency.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills — able to clearly articulate pedagogical feedback both verbally and in written documentation.

Engagement Details

  • Type: Freelance / Independent Contractor
  • Workplace: Fully Remote
  • Pay: $6–$65/hr, based on experience, expertise, and location
  • Equipment: Contractors must supply their own secure computer and high-speed internet
  • Benefits: Company-sponsored benefits (health insurance, PTO) do not apply
