Turing is seeking a native Arabic-speaking Language Moderator to coordinate and oversee multi-speaker recording sessions for a cutting-edge multilingual AI data program. This is a fully remote contractor role requiring at least 40 hours per week with overlap during PST hours.

Role Overview

As a Language Moderator, you will coordinate speakers, manage recording sessions, and ensure all audio and supporting files meet project quality standards before moving to downstream annotation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and guide multi-speaker recording sessions that feel natural, engaging, and authentic.
  • Create an environment where participants can interact comfortably and contribute dynamic conversations.
  • Oversee recording and transcription quality to ensure every session meets high project standards.
  • Proactively resolve issues and keep sessions on track with minimal disruption.
  • Manage schedules, participant readiness, and session logistics with precision.
  • Maintain updated progress trackers and clear visibility across all deliverables.
  • Contribute to scaling a world-class multilingual data program through consistency and reliability.

Required Qualifications

  • Native proficiency in Arabic.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple speakers and recording sessions.
  • Excellent attention to detail in file handling, naming conventions, and session deliverables.
  • Good ear for audio fidelity — able to detect background noise, clipping, distortion, or channel bleed.
  • Strong understanding of natural conversational speech patterns and multi-speaker dynamics.
  • Comfortable working with spreadsheets, trackers, and structured project workflows.
  • Reliable internet connection and ability to coordinate remote contributors effectively.

Engagement Details

  • Commitment: Minimum 40 hours/week with at least 4 hours of daily overlap with PST.
  • Type: Contractor/Freelancer (no medical or paid leave benefits).
  • Duration: 8 weeks.
