Māori Language AI Alignment Partner at Invisible Tech

Māori Language AI Trainer (Freelance) | $6–$65/hr | Worldwide Remote

We are seeking a skilled Language Alignment & Resource Partner (LARP) with native-level Māori proficiency to support a specialized AI data project. In this role, you will provide linguistic quality assurance, cultural consultation, and annotation services to help AI systems produce natural, accurate, and culturally respectful Māori language outputs.

Project Deliverables

• Data Annotation & Review: Evaluate and annotate AI-generated content for grammatical accuracy, natural phrasing, and cultural appropriateness in Māori.
• Quality Assurance: Serve as a primary quality checkpoint during production, identifying and correcting subtle cultural errors or unnatural language patterns.
• Resource Development: Analyze quality trends and create structured educational resources and feedback documentation to improve AI alignment with campaign expectations.
• Linguistic Consultation: Provide native-level vetting and specialized language support throughout the project's production and scaling phases.

Required Expertise

• Background in linguistics, education, or a field requiring high attention to linguistic detail.
• Prior hands-on experience in human data evaluation or annotation.
• Verified Māori language proficiency at C1 or C2 level.
• Ability to transform raw feedback and quality trends into clear, actionable educational materials.
• A meticulous eye for language with the ability to detect and correct even the most subtle unnatural phrasing.
