Retail Trade AI Trainer (Freelance) at Invisible Tech

Retail Trade Specialist | $10–$30/hr | Remote (US) | Freelance Contract

We are seeking experienced Retail Trade Specialists to contribute expert knowledge to an AI benchmark evaluation project. In this role, you will design evaluation frameworks, craft professional prompts, and produce structured training data that helps AI models accurately handle complex retail strategies, merchandising plans, and omnichannel workflows.

Project Deliverables

• Task & Prompt Creation: Develop realistic, high-quality prompts that challenge AI models to produce professional-grade outputs across retail trade, visual merchandising, e-commerce, and store operations.
• Rubric Development: Write clear, well-structured evaluation rubrics with specific, objective, and easily scorable criteria.
• Benchmark Data Generation: Produce clean, reliable training data to support the evaluation and refinement of AI models handling complex retail tasks.
• Quality Assurance & Fact-Checking: Ensure all tasks and scoring criteria align with real-world retail market standards, consumer trends, and operational realities.

Required Expertise

• Demonstrated professional experience in retail trade, merchandising, store management, or e-commerce, with strong knowledge of industry standards and inventory management.
• Strong writing and prompt generation skills, with the ability to design complex, realistic retail scenarios for AI evaluation.
• Proficiency in creating objective, non-ambiguous rubrics and scoring criteria.
• Detail-oriented approach to fact-checking merchandising plans, pricing strategies, consumer data, and retail operations.
