Role Overview
We're looking for a driven Backend Engineer to build core pricing systems that help patients and providers negotiate lower healthcare costs.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and build robust APIs, libraries, and tools for healthcare pricing products
- Manage full software development lifecycle
- Collaborate with Product and experts to create API endpoints
- Draft technical documentation
- Prioritize and iterate based on feedback
Requirements
- 5+ years in backend development, building scalable systems and API endpoints
- Experience with Python, other languages (Go, Java, etc.), and SQL/NoSQL databases
- Familiarity with OLAP datastores (e.g., Apache Pinot)
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (non-traditional backgrounds welcome)
- Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to work remotely
