Salary Range: $170,000 - $185,000

Role Overview

We're looking for a driven Backend Engineer to build core pricing systems that help patients and providers negotiate lower healthcare costs.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build robust APIs, libraries, and tools for healthcare pricing products
• Manage full software development lifecycle
• Collaborate with Product and experts to create API endpoints
• Draft technical documentation
• Prioritize and iterate based on feedback

Requirements

• 5+ years in backend development, building scalable systems and API endpoints
• Experience with Python, other languages (Go, Java, etc.), and SQL/NoSQL databases
• Familiarity with OLAP datastores (e.g., Apache Pinot)
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (non-traditional backgrounds welcome)
• Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to work remotely
