About the Role
micro1 is hiring an expert-level Senior NDT Inspector (Level II/III) on a contractor basis. This is a remote role in applied engineering, focused on evaluating non-destructive testing results and making defect acceptance decisions.
What the Work Involves
- Interpreting Radiographic Testing (RT) results
- Performing and evaluating Ultrasonic Testing (UT/PAUT)
- Evaluating MT/PT indications
- Applying ASME Section V and API 510/653 codes and standards
- Making weld defect acceptance decisions against applicable criteria
Who This Role Is For
- NDT professionals at Level II or Level III
- Expert-level experience in applied engineering
- Working knowledge of Radiographic Testing (RT) interpretation
- Proficiency in Ultrasonic Testing (UT/PAUT)
- Experience evaluating MT/PT indications
- Familiarity with ASME Section V and API 510/653
- Sound judgment on weld defect acceptance criteria
Pay and Commitment
This is a contractor position paying $70-110/hr.
