posted 2 hours agoCommercial / Go-to-Market Specialist | Varies | Remote | Contractor, 12 weeks
Turing, an AI company, is hiring a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in B2B Commercial / Go-to-Market (GTM) operations to design, evaluate, and calibrate domain tasks, realistic sales and retention scenarios, and benchmark evaluation rubrics. The role covers two GTM functions: B2B Account Execution and Customer Success Management. Candidates are placed into an Expert Contributor (mid-level) or Senior Specialist / Reviewer (senior-level) track based on commercial experience, deal complexity, and prior background in quality calibration or peer review.
What You'll Do
- Benchmark task authoring: design realistic, high-complexity B2B sales and retention exercises, including discovery call simulations, enterprise qualification frameworks, RFP responses, renewal negotiations, account health diagnostics, and customer escalations, complete with gold-standard solution sets.
- Rubric adherence and scoring: apply evaluation criteria defined by the Functional SME Lead to assess commercial deliverables, covering qualification rigor, objection handling, commercial framing, and executive alignment.
- Review and quality calibration (senior level): audit, review, and calibrate submissions from pod members, clarify edge-case commercial scenarios, and escalate rubric ambiguities with actionable recommendations.
- Iterative refinement: incorporate structured calibration feedback and peer critiques across sprint cycles to improve benchmark solution quality.
Requirements
- 3-12+ years of direct, hands-on B2B enterprise sales, account management, or customer success experience within SaaS, technology, or professional services environments.
- Deep practical knowledge of industry-standard GTM frameworks, such as MEDDPICC, Challenger, SPICED, and Gainsight/Totango health methodologies.
- Track record of quota attainment, pipeline ownership, enterprise renewal management, or account expansion.
- Sharp analytical and critical thinking: spotting flawed commercial logic, weak objection handling, unrealistic sales pipelines, or poorly structured customer intervention plans.
- Exceptional written communication and documentation skills, including clear deal rationales, feedback notes, and objective rubric scoring.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. Background in AI evaluation, data annotation, content review, quality assurance, or a related analytical role is preferred but not required.
Pay, Schedule and Engagement
- Engagement type: Contractor.
- Engagement length: 12 weeks.
- Pay rate not specified in the listing.
- At least 4 hours per day and up to 40 hours per week, with 4 hours of overlap with Pacific Time (PST).
