Mercor is partnering with a leading AI lab to recruit American English Voice Actors for a short-term audio data project. This is a fantastic opportunity for voice professionals and experienced speakers to contribute to cutting-edge AI development — all from the comfort of your own home studio.

Project Overview

• Duration: Approximately 1–2 weeks from your start date
• Start Date: Monday, March 9, 2026 (kickoff call required)
• Commitment: 2–10 hours per week for the duration of the project
• Pay: $250 USD per finished hour of submitted audio

What You'll Do

You will record audio transcripts for an AI lab to help improve their model's ability to process and generate audio data. Recordings must be precise, natural-sounding, and professionally produced.

Who We're Looking For

Professional voice acting experience is strongly preferred, but we also welcome candidates with speaking or audio backgrounds in:

• Music, Radio, or Podcasting
• Television or Film
• YouTube, Twitch Streaming, or Comedy
• Any other relevant audio/speaking field

Requirements

• Must be born and raised in the United States and a native English speaker
• Ability to deliver a clear, neutral-to-upbeat customer service tone with consistent pacing and enunciation
• Strong attention to punctuation, commas, and dashes — transcripts must be read exactly as written or naturally adapted
• Professional home recording setup required: professional-grade microphone, soundproofing, audio interface, pop filter, and post-production editing software
