Mercor is partnering with a leading AI lab to hire Australian Voice Actors for a short-term audio data project. You'll record transcripts to help improve an AI model's ability to handle and produce audio — a unique opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge AI development from your home studio.

Project Details:

• Duration: Approximately 1–2 weeks from your start date
• Start Date: Monday, March 9, 2026 (kickoff call required)
• Commitment: 2–10 hours per week for the project duration
• Pay: $225 USD per finished hour of submitted audio

Who We're Looking For:

Professional voice acting experience is preferred but not required. We welcome candidates with backgrounds in music, television, podcasts, Twitch streaming, comedy, YouTube, radio, or any related audio/speaking field.

Requirements:

• Must be born and raised in Australia and a native English speaker
• Ability to deliver a clear, neutral-to-upbeat customer service tone with consistent pacing and enunciation
• Strong attention to punctuation, commas, and dashes — recordings must reflect natural pacing as written
• Access to a professional home recording setup: high-grade microphone, soundproofing, audio interface, pop filter, and post-production editing software
