Mercor is partnering with a leading AI lab to recruit British English Voice Actors for a short-term audio data project. This is a fantastic opportunity for voice professionals and experienced speakers to contribute to cutting-edge AI development — all from the comfort of your own home studio.

Project Overview

• Duration: Approximately 1–2 weeks from your start date
• Start Date: Monday, March 9, 2026 (kickoff call required)
• Commitment: 2–10 hours per week for the duration of the project
• Pay Rate: $225 USD per finished hour of submitted audio

What You'll Do

You'll record audio transcripts to help train and improve an AI model's ability to process and generate audio data. Accuracy, clarity, and natural pacing are essential to this role.

Requirements

• Must be born and raised in Great Britain and a native English speaker
• Ability to speak in a professional, neutral-to-upbeat customer service tone with clear enunciation and consistent pacing
• Strong attention to detail — punctuation, commas, and dashes must be reflected accurately in recordings
• Access to a professional home recording setup, including: professional-grade microphone, soundproofing, audio interface, pop filter, and post-production editing software

Preferred Background

Professional voice acting experience is preferred but not required. We welcome applicants with backgrounds in music, television, podcasting, Twitch streaming, comedy, YouTube, radio, or other audio-related fields.
