Corporate/M&A Lawyer (Spain) | $140–150/hr | Remote (Spain)

Mercor is partnering with a leading legal AI company to evaluate how well AI systems interpret and respond to real questions of Spanish law. We are seeking experienced Corporate/M&A lawyers based in Spain to serve as expert reviewers in a structured AI benchmarking project. This is a flexible, remote contractor role with an initial commitment of approximately 10 hours and strong potential for ongoing work.

What You'll Do

• Run identical prompts across two AI (LLM) platforms and compare outputs side by side
• Score each AI response against a standardized evaluation rubric provided by the client
• Submit concise, well-reasoned written feedback for every evaluation completed
• Work independently and meet deadlines with minimal supervision

Requirements

• Law firm experience is essential — minimum 2 years (3+ preferred) in a corporate/M&A or transactional practice at a law firm
• Currently in-house candidates are welcome only if they transitioned within the last 2 years from a law firm background
• Qualified to practise law in Spain, with a strong command of Spanish corporate and commercial law
• Native or fluent Spanish speaker with precise written communication skills

Logistics

• Initial commitment: ~10 hours, with strong potential for extended engagement
• Confidentiality: All work is covered by a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA)
• Schedule: Fully flexible and remote
