Finance/Accounting Domain Expert | $50–75/hr | Worldwide Remote | ~20 hrs/week

Mercor is partnering with a leading AI research lab to bring on experienced finance and accounting professionals for a specialized AI model evaluation project. This is a unique opportunity to shape the reliability and accuracy of AI systems in high-stakes financial and regulatory contexts.

What You'll Do

• Craft realistic, domain-specific prompts that reflect how professionals and consumers seek financial or accounting guidance
• Evaluate AI-generated responses for factual accuracy, regulatory compliance, and practical usefulness
• Identify fabricated claims, incorrect references, or flawed reasoning in model outputs
• Score and rank multiple AI responses using structured rubrics across key quality dimensions
• Provide detailed written justifications backed by specific evidence for each evaluation

Ideal Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, or a closely related field
• Hands-on professional experience in a practitioner or advisory capacity
• Strong familiarity with industry standards, financial regulations, and compliance frameworks
• Excellent written communication and critical analytical skills

Engagement Details

• Rate: $50–$75/hr depending on experience
• Commitment: Approximately 20 hours per week
• Location: Fully remote, worldwide
