Generalist Expert – AI Evaluation | $50–70/hr | Remote (US & Canada)

Mercor is seeking sharp, detail-oriented generalist professionals based in the US or Canada to help train and evaluate cutting-edge AI models. In this role, you'll assess a broad range of everyday professional content — documents, presentations, spreadsheets, and written materials — providing structured feedback that directly shapes how AI systems reason and produce real-world work product.

What You'll Do

• Review and evaluate documents, slides, spreadsheets, and similar materials for quality, accuracy, clarity, and completeness
• Provide clear, well-reasoned written feedback and ratings on AI-generated content
• Compare and rank AI outputs against defined quality criteria
• Identify errors, inconsistencies, and gaps in reasoning or formatting

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree (minimum requirement)
• Based in the United States or Canada
• Excellent reading comprehension and written communication skills in English
• Strong attention to detail and sound judgment across varied subject matter
• Comfortable working independently with common productivity tools (docs, slides, spreadsheets)

No prior AI or machine learning experience is required — Mercor will provide all necessary guidelines and context to set you up for success.
