Investment Banking M&A Specialist | $180–230/hr | Remote (UK-Based)

Mercor is recruiting experienced UK-based Investment Banking M&A Specialists to contribute to a research project with a leading frontier AI lab. This is a flexible, high-paying contract role ideal for seasoned banking professionals looking to apply their expertise in a cutting-edge AI context.

About the Role

You will help create, review, and evaluate high-quality investment banking and M&A scenarios, drawing on your experience in transaction analysis, financial modeling, and corporate finance. Your contributions will directly support the development of frontier AI systems.

• Contribute up to 40 hours per week
• Work remotely from anywhere in the United Kingdom
• Strong performance increases eligibility for future Mercor projects

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and evaluate realistic M&A and investment banking scenarios for AI training data
• Analyze financial statements and interpret valuation outputs
• Review pitch books, financial models, and due diligence materials
• Translate complex financial concepts into clear, structured recommendations

Ideal Background

Candidates with experience at bulge bracket institutions such as Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, J.P. Morgan, or other leading global investment banks are strongly encouraged to apply.
