Litigation Lawyer – AI Reviewer at Mercor

Litigation Lawyer (AI Reviewer) | $150–160/hr | Remote – United Kingdom

Mercor is partnering with a leading legal AI company to evaluate how well AI systems respond to real UK law questions. We are seeking experienced litigation and disputes lawyers to serve as expert reviewers, comparing AI-generated legal outputs and scoring them against a standardized rubric.

What You'll Do

• Run identical prompts across two AI (LLM) platforms and compare outputs side by side
• Score each AI response using a standardized evaluation rubric provided by the client
• Submit concise, well-reasoned written feedback for every evaluation completed

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years (3+ preferred) of experience at a law firm or barristers' chambers in litigation, disputes, or contentious practice
• In-house experience is acceptable only if you transitioned within the last 2 years and your prior background was at a firm or chambers
• Qualified to practise law in the United Kingdom, with a strong command of UK litigation and procedural law
• Native or fluent English speaker with precise written communication skills
• Able to work independently, follow a rubric, and meet deadlines

Logistics

• Initial commitment: approximately 10 hours, with strong potential for ongoing work
• All work is covered by a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA)
