Mold Expert | $60–$100/hr | Worldwide Remote

Mercor is seeking experienced mold professionals to contribute to a first-of-its-kind AI research initiative aimed at helping AI systems better understand and execute real-world tasks. Your hands-on expertise will directly shape how AI responds to practical, nuanced challenges that everyday users face.

About the Role

As an Expert Contributor, you will leverage your real-world mold remediation and treatment experience to design, execute, and evaluate tasks that reflect genuine human interactions with AI systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Claim and complete tasks related to mold treatment and remediation, as well as other common real-world scenarios
• Write clear, realistic prompts that accurately represent how users engage with AI
• Execute tasks while recording your screen to document the process
• Develop detailed evaluation rubrics to assess AI performance on assigned tasks

Working Hours & Flexibility

• Minimum commitment of 10 hours per week
• Fully remote with flexible scheduling

Additional Details

• This is an ongoing research project with long-term potential
• A desktop or laptop computer is required (Chromebooks are not supported)
