Senior Data Engineer Analyst | $65–$90/hr | Menlo Park, CA (On-Site)

Join a high-impact analytics team supporting a leading technology company. As a Senior Data Engineer Analyst, you will design and maintain large-scale data pipelines, build automated reporting infrastructure, and partner with cross-functional teams to drive data-driven decision-making. This is a full-time, W-2 role employed through Cincinnatus, an enterprise staffing partner.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with growth marketers, program managers, and central analytics teams to define data and metrics requirements.
• Design, build, and maintain automated dashboards, reports, and ongoing analyses using tools such as Tableau.
• Build and optimize ETL pipelines to support large-scale marketing campaigns and automate campaign reporting.
• Write high-quality SQL queries to extract and analyze data from complex database environments.
• Partner with analytics and cross-functional stakeholders to identify and resolve data integrity and accuracy issues across reporting infrastructure and dashboards.

Required Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in a STEM field.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with SQL (Oracle, Vertica, Hive, MySQL, or similar).
• Proven experience building and operating distributed systems for large-scale data extraction, ingestion, and processing.
• Strong background in ETL design, implementation, and maintenance.
• Experience with Business Intelligence tools such as Tableau or MicroStrategy.
• Proficiency in Python and R.
• Self-starter with the ability to thrive in fast-changing, ambiguous environments.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience building large-scale data pipelines handling millions of rows.
• Ability to guide teams on pipeline best practices and data engineering standards.
• Leadership experience with a track record of managing projects and setting expectations.
• Background in big tech or similar high-scale data engineering environments.
