Apple Health Data Contributor | $60/hr | Remote (US)

Mercor is building a de-identified, real-world health dataset using Apple Health exports. Qualified Apple Watch and iPhone users can contribute their HealthKit and linked Electronic Health Record (EHR) data in a single export — earning $60/hr for their time and participation.

Who Qualifies

You must meet both of the following criteria:

• You are an Apple Watch or iPhone user with a populated Apple Health profile (activity, heart rate, sleep, and more — not just steps).
• You have health records from at least one qualifying institution actively linked to Apple HealthKit, including clinical notes, immunizations, lab results, medications, and vitals.

Qualifying institutions include (but are not limited to):

• Mass General Brigham
• Stanford Health Care
• Kaiser Permanente
• NYU Langone Health
• Penn Medicine
• Vanderbilt University Medical Center
• Yale New Haven Health
• Cedars-Sinai Health System
• Northwestern Medicine
• UC San Diego Health
• Michigan Medicine
• Baylor Scott & White Health
• Sutter Health, Intermountain Healthcare, and many more.

If your provider is not on the qualifying list, you do not qualify for this opportunity.

What You'll Do

1. Fully populate your HealthKit profile — include data across all applicable categories. Steps-only profiles will not be accepted.
2. Link your EHR from at least one qualifying institution via Apple's Health Records network. Your record must include immunizations, lab results, medications, vitals, and clinical notes.
3. Consent to share four demographic attributes: age, gender, approximate region, and activity level.

Submission Requirements

• Must be a genuine export from your own Health app (no synthetic or demo data).
• Must include records from at least one qualifying institution connected to Apple HealthKit.
• Must reflect a complete profile with continuous history — not a single day of data.
• Must include a linked EHR with all four required clinical categories.
• Clinical Notes are a hard requirement — submissions without clinical notes cannot be accepted or compensated.
• All four demographic attributes must be consented — no consent means no submission.

Your Privacy

Your identity and raw health information never enter the dataset. All exports are de-identified following HIPAA Safe Harbor standards: identifiers are stripped, dates and locations are generalized, and notes are scrubbed. You receive a random ID, and the link to your identity is held separately and never travels with the data. You may withdraw consent at any time to be removed from the dataset.

Commitment

This is a one-time contribution per participant, with an optional re-export available later to refresh your data. No ongoing commitment is required.
