Role Overview
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Member of Program Staff to join our dynamic team. This role focuses on the critical development and enhancement of Grok, our advanced AI model. You will play a key part in maintaining high data integrity and reliability, driving essential data initiatives, and optimizing annotation workflows to continually improve Grok's capabilities across diverse domains including science, technology, mathematics, humanities, humor, and current events.
Key Responsibilities
Technical and Strategic Contributions:
Support and enhance Grok’s architecture and personality to align closely with strategic objectives.
Research, implement, and evaluate innovative methods to improve model capabilities in data collection, annotation, multimodal integration, and generation.
Lead improvements to Grok across various disciplines, ensuring robust model performance across broad topics and tasks.
Plan, design, and execute projects focused on refining model behavior through comprehensive data management and optimization strategies.
Data Integrity and Project Management:
Ensure the accuracy, truthfulness, and high quality of datasets through rigorous validation and evaluation.
Identify optimal datasets and annotation workflows that meet project specifications, prioritizing quality over quantity.
Design effective annotation tools and applications that support and enhance data integrity.
Communication and Team Collaboration:
Act as a key liaison between technical, engineering, and tutoring teams, facilitating clear and effective communication.
Regularly report project progress, insights from annotations, and address any challenges promptly to ensure transparent, informed decision-making across teams.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree (required).
Demonstrable experience in data curation, data quality management, or similar roles.
Familiarity with AI and machine learning concepts, including annotation methodologies and tools.
Proficiency with SQL and Python.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, able to interpret complex data sets effectively.
Exceptional organizational abilities and self-management skills.
Excellent communication skills, capable of clearly presenting technical information to diverse audiences.
