Multilingual Voice Generalist
$30–$50 /hr | Hourly · Remote Contract
About Mercor
Mercor is partnering with a leading AI research lab to train next-generation language models on audio data. We’re looking for talented multilingual speakers to join as Voice Generalist Users or Moderators in a fast-paced, short-term project.
Record & Review Live Sessions:
– Participate in 1-hour virtual sessions (10–40 hrs/week as a User; 15–40 hrs/week as a Moderator)
– Create high-quality voiceovers for provided scripts
– Collaborate with other participants to refine recordings
Support AI Training:
– Help our model learn natural speech patterns across diverse languages
– (Moderators only) Organize, review, and manage recorded files via Google Drive
Fluent in one or more of:
Arabic (MSA), Bengali, Bulgarian, Catalan, Chinese (Simplified), Croatian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, English (UK), Finnish, Galician, Greek, Hebrew, Hindi, Hungarian, Indonesian, Italian, Korean, Latvian, Marathi, Norwegian, Persian, Polish, Romanian, Russian, Serbian, Slovak, Swedish, Tamil, Telugu, Thai, Ukrainian, Vietnamese
Comfortable working in English
Equipped to record clear audio and maintain a stable internet connection
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Able to follow dynamic instructions and adapt quickly
All User qualifications, plus:
Proficient in Google Drive and general file management
Experience coordinating small teams or guiding peers
Competitive Pay:
– Users: $30 USD per live session
– Moderators: $50 USD per live session
Flexible Scheduling:
– Sessions scheduled around your availability
Short-Term Commitment:
– Project runs approximately 1–2 weeks from your start date
