Mercor is partnering with a major technology company developing AI-powered design tooling. They are seeking senior designers to participate in a structured, paid remote research study aimed at capturing how expert designers think, critique, and make decisions.

This is a unique opportunity to contribute your design expertise to the future of AI tooling — without any of your work being used for model training.

What to Expect

• Structured, recorded remote sessions lasting approximately 4–5 hours per task or interview, including prep and a brief post-session review
• Depending on your profile and fit, you may serve as the expert being interviewed or as the interviewer conducting sessions
• Compensation at $150–$250/hr
• Scope, timing, volume, and structure are still being finalized with the client and may evolve

What We're Looking For

• Senior-level experience in product design, UX, brand, or adjacent craft disciplines
• A clear, articulate point of view on design quality, critique, and shipping standards
• A shareable portfolio — a website link is strongly preferred
