The Opportunity
We're building our Developer Productivity team, and we need a technical leader who's passionate about empowering engineers to do their best work. You'll shape how our engineering teams operate by creating tools and systems that "just work."
Your Impact
As our Staff Software Engineer, you'll:
- Lead end-to-end engineering initiatives that amplify team productivity
- Design and implement standardized service operation, deployment, and observability solutions
- Unify and modernize our CI/CD infrastructure
- Create elegant tools that make best practices the path of least resistance
- Drive improvements in:
- Development velocity
- Deployment reliability
- Testing coverage
- System safety
- Engineering workflow efficiency
What You Bring
- 8+ years of software engineering experience, with a track record of:
- Managing complex, cross-team technical projects
- Communicating effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Creating and maintaining high-quality technical documentation
- Working independently on ambiguous problems
- Deep expertise in:
- React frontend development
- Python web frameworks (Flask, Django, FastAPI)
- Data systems (PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, Cassandra, Kafka)
- Kubernetes deployment and observability
- Experience with remote teams and distributed systems
- Prior management experience is a plus
