Role Overview
As an AI Tutor - STEM Specialist, you'll play a crucial role in enhancing our cutting-edge AI technologies by providing expert-level input across advanced STEM fields. You'll work closely with our technical team to improve model performance, refine annotation tools, and tackle complex problems in your area of expertise.
Key Responsibilities
- Leverage your STEM expertise to evaluate and improve AI model responses
- Provide high-quality input and labels using our specialized software
- Collaborate with technical teams to develop and enhance annotation tools
- Select and solve complex problems from advanced STEM fields
- Contribute to the training and refinement of new AI capabilities
- Analyze and execute tasks based on evolving project requirements
Required Qualifications
- One of the following:
- IMO medalist (or equivalent competition achievement)
- Master's or PhD in a STEM field (Physics, Mathematics, Engineering, Biology, Chemistry, Medicine, etc.)
- Excellence in professional and informal written English
- Strong analytical and research capabilities
- Outstanding problem-solving and independent decision-making skills
- Passion for technological innovation
Preferred Qualifications
- Published research in reputable journals
- Previous AI tutoring experience
- Teaching experience (professor, teacher, or tutor)
- Technical writing background
Work Schedule & Requirements
- Full-Time (40 hours/week):
- Standard schedule: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM in your local time zone
- Flexible arrangements available
- Part-Time (20-29 hours/week):
- Minimum 20 hours weekly (10+ hours during weekdays)
- Flexible scheduling options
- Evening and weekend availability may be required
- Computer requirements: Windows 10 or macOS BigSur 11.0+
Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly rate: $35-$65, based on experience and qualifications
- Full-time benefits include medical insurance (varies by country)
- Part-time positions are not eligible for benefits
Location Requirements
- Remote position available in select countries (see application for full list)
- US positions not available in Wyoming and Illinois
- No visa sponsorship available
