Mercor is seeking experienced education professionals to join a short-term project in collaboration with a leading AI research lab. This role focuses on advancing AI capabilities in curriculum development, instructional design, and educational assessment. As an Education Expert, you will play a pivotal role in shaping AI tools that support real-world teaching and learning workflows.

• Review and evaluate AI-generated lesson plans, learning materials, and assessment tools for accuracy and instructional quality.
• Provide feedback on pedagogy, curriculum alignment, and student engagement strategies.
• Develop and refine evaluation rubrics for instructional content and assessment validity.
• Collaborate asynchronously with AI research teams to enhance system reasoning and reliability.
• Audit educational resources and training modules for clarity and usability.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of professional or research experience in education, curriculum design, instructional technology, or related fields.
• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Education or a related discipline.
• Expertise in curriculum development, assessment design, instructional technology, special education, or teacher training.
• Proficiency with learning management systems and educational technology platforms.
• Exceptional communication and instructional writing skills.
• Must reside in the US, UK, or Canada.
