English–Japanese Meeting Translator | $35–50/hr | Japan

Join our team as an experienced English–Japanese translator/interpreter to facilitate seamless communication during business and sales meetings. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring accurate, culturally sensitive translation for high-stakes corporate discussions.

• Provide real-time simultaneous or consecutive translation during virtual or in-person business meetings.
• Translate both verbal discussions and written materials, including chat messages, key points, and summary notes as needed.
• Maintain professionalism and confidentiality while ensuring cultural appropriateness in all communications.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand meeting context, terminology, and objectives in advance.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an interpreter or translator in corporate, sales, or client-facing environments.
• Native-level fluency in both Japanese and English (spoken and written).
• Strong grasp of business terminology, especially in sales, partnerships, or technology.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to think quickly and convey ideas accurately.
• Availability for meetings scheduled on 9th October, 2025.

Preferred: Experience with startups, tech firms, or multinational companies, and familiarity with platforms like Zoom, Google Meet, or MS Teams.
