Special Education Content Developer | $50–70/hr | Remote Worldwide

Mercor is seeking experienced special education professionals to support an innovative dataset development project focused on autism-related educational needs. Create high-quality, structured content based on IEPs and 504 plans that will be used to test and demonstrate advanced AI systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and organize expert-level educational content aligned with project guidelines
• Review, interpret, and translate IEP and 504 plan components into clear, structured documentation
• Ensure accuracy, depth, and clarity across all instructional materials
• Apply expert knowledge of special education transition periods, including graduation and postsecondary planning
• Collaborate asynchronously with the project manager and meet all deadlines

You're a Strong Fit If You Have:

• 8+ years of experience as a special education teacher, IEP coordinator, or equivalent role
• Deep expertise in autism-focused educational services
• Strong understanding of IEP and 504 plan development and review processes
• Demonstrated experience advocating for parent and student educational rights
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow structured documentation standards
• Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality work under tight timelines

Role Details:

• Type: Part-time, project-based (expected duration: 4–6 weeks)
• Engagement: Approximately 20 hours per week
• Work Mode: 100% remote and asynchronous — work from anywhere, on your own schedule
