Role Overview: Mercor is hiring experienced investment banking, asset management, and private market professionals for a long-term collaborative project with a leading AI lab. You will contribute to enhancing cutting-edge AI models by developing high-quality investment services research, analysis, and benchmarking tasks.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience at a top-tier investment bank (bulge bracket or elite boutique), asset management, or private markets firm (e.g., Goldman Sachs, JPMorgan Chase, Evercore, Lazard, Centerview, BlackRock, KKR, Apollo, etc.).

• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.

• Exceptional attention to detail and excellent written communication.

Responsibilities:

• Create detailed, high-quality investment banking research questions, answers, and evaluation criteria to train and benchmark state-of-the-art large language models (LLMs).

• Work independently and asynchronously, with flexible hours (~20+ hours per week).

• Maintain structured deliverables without the high-pressure environment typical of management consulting roles.

Project Duration:

• Anticipated duration of several months; participation in the full term is flexible.
