As a Senior Software Engineer on the Foundations team, you'll build and maintain the core infrastructure supporting our engineering organization. The ideal candidate excels at solving complex platform-level problems and optimizing system architecture, data flow, and API design.
- Develop and maintain our core API
- Optimize and debug GraphQL implementations
- Ensure platform stability and scalability
- Contribute to architectural planning and improvements
- Build tooling for core platform functionality (e.g., authentication)
- Participate in technical reviews of platform-level solutions
- 6+ years of software engineering experience
- Proven track record of delivering impactful, well-tested code
- Experience mentoring junior engineers and driving team-wide improvements
- Proficiency in one or more of:
- Python web frameworks (Flask, Django, FastAPI)
- GraphQL
- Data management systems (PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, Cassandra, Kafka)
- Cloud deployment with Kubernetes and observability
- Experience with agile methodologies and on-time, high-quality software delivery
- Remote work experience preferred
