Technical Project Manager III | $70–100/hr | Burlingame, CA

Join Meta's Reality Labs team as a Technical Project Manager responsible for deploying and maintaining high-impact retail technologies that power retail displays, demo devices, and store operations. This role drives product trial and conversion at the point of sale by enabling customers to experience and understand Meta's hardware products across all first-party retail locations.

As the main point of contact for store technology operations, you'll manage software updates, troubleshooting, and in-store device management while interfacing with retail teams, internal technical partners, and operations teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor retail technology performance dashboards and consolidate system statuses into actionable operational updates for stakeholders
  • Organize and triage technical issues from store teams, building field-friendly troubleshooting documentation
  • Manage relationships with retail technical support partners, scaling support and maintenance processes
  • Execute and coordinate retail demo content and software updates year-round across AI glasses and VR products
  • Serve as primary operational point of contact for technical vendors, ensuring SLAs are met
  • Collaborate with analytics and demo teams to define operational KPIs and drive optimization efforts
  • Support deployment of scalable retail technology solutions, prioritizing system stability and ease of support
  • Build and track program budgets for technology maintenance and manage supplier Statements of Work

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in technical project/product management or equivalent
  • Deep understanding of hardware and software development processes
  • Hands-on experience with bug and project tracking tools (JIRA, Asana)
  • Ability to build and maintain project trackers for complex programs
  • Strong interpersonal skills with excellent verbal and written communication
  • Experience navigating diverse organizational environments
  • Highly effective at managing conflict and maintaining positive team dynamics
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or Computer Engineering

Preferred: Understanding of retail devices and interactive display technologies
